‘Maaveeran’ in theatres from May 27

With the credit of being the highest grosser in Telugu as ‘Magadheera,’ ‘Maaveeran’ will be released in theatres across Tamil Nadu on May 27th. The film will be released in more than a hundred cinema halls across the state. Directed by S.S. Rajamouli the film has a running time of nearly a little more than two and a half hour.

The film sees Ram Charan Teja in the lead with Kajal Agarwal as his lady love. The scenes of the film shift from contemporary to period drama and back. But the transition is so smooth the audiences are sure to find it interesting. Reports suggest that the film grossed nearly a whooping 150 crores. ‘Maaveeran’ is being brought to the theatres by Geetha Arts.

The first copy of the music album of the film was released on April 25 by ‘Ulaga Nayagan’ Kamal Haasan and was received by director Mani Rathnam.. The music composer is M.M. Keeravani. The Tamil lyrics for the songs have been penned by Vaali and Jayaram.

The film boasts of rich locales and forts across the country and was filmed at the Rann of Kutch, Rajasthan and parts of Gujrat.
